Match report Welwyn Garden City batted first and compiled a competitive score with contributions from all the batters. Matthew and Logan added 26 runs in their partnership and Charlie and Adam put on 23.

Josh (2) and Kyle were the wicket takers for Shenley.

Shenley struggled early on, losing 4 wickets in the first 6 overs and required 41 runs to win off the last 4 overs. The final pair of Adam and Josh went for it and very nearly achieved the victory, by adding 35 leaving them 6 runs short.

Edward (3), Adam and Logan took the wickets for WGC.

It was an exciting game, played in a fine spirit on a sunny Sunday morning between two competitive teams.
