St Margaretsbury batted first, and in the first half of their innings the Welwyn Garden bowlers, Keaton Oliver, Mathew and Sam Woods were well on top.After eight overs the score remained on the starting figure of 200 the bowlers having taken 3 wickets between them. Two good partnerships followed Tom and Alex put on 28 (the best of the game) and then Joe and Harry 17. St Margaretsbury final score was 245.

Welwyn Garden got off to a good start with Keaton and Oliver scoring a total of 26. Keaton making the top score of the game with 19. The next four batsmen Sam Woods, Mathew, Sam Jones and Daniel all batted well with Sam Jones reaching 14. However 5 wickets fell in 8 overs leaving the score on 235. Welwyn Garden’s last pair Nathan and Finnley put on 25 without losing a wicket. Nathan’s 14 including 3 fours.The final score was 260 giving Welwyn Garden a 15 run win.
