WELWYN GARDEN CITY CRICKET CLUB
Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club is part of the Digswell Park Sports Association which is based just off Knightsfield, Welwyn Garden City.
A vibrant club which has been successful over recent seasons winning promotion to the highest level of Club Cricket.
The club has five Saturday sides. The First XI play in the Saracens Hertfordshire Premier League while the other teams play in various divisions of the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League. The club also enters various cup competitions, and has a newly-formed list of Sunday friendly fixtures.
The Juniors section has been growing strongly over the last 5 years while retaining its family-friendly feeling, open to players of all experience and abilities. Cricket training begins at Reception and Year1. Teams are entered at all age groups (U9-U17) into the Hertfordshire Junior Leagues. We have a thriving Girls section who also play competitive cricket in the HJL. Across the Juniors, we develop our leading players' skills and abilities while also offering "cricket for all".
