Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club Saturday 4th XI v Abbots Langley III on Sat 09 Jun 2012 at 13h00
Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club Lost

Match report After further rain in the week the wicket was again wet and slow for our encounter with Abbots Langley 3rd XI.
Having won the toss Welwyn elected to field and despite some unconventional opening batting made steady progress through the opposition line up. Matt Wells was the pick of the bowlers ending with 4 wickets, the innings closing in the 44th over for 155. This represented another excellent bowling and fielding performance.
This left us with 56 overs to reach our target with an extremely strong batting line up, at least on paper! The reality proved to be far from ideal and the side inexplicably crashed from 54 for 2 to 77 all out.
This left Welwyn with a miserable 5 points and a very sour taste in our mouths.
